Fashion Week 2016: Kendall Jenner and Lady Gaga are Marc Jacobs' Muses, and More Can't Miss NYFW Photos
MODELS AT MARC JACOBS
Talk about a whole lotta look! Kendall Jenner and Lady Gaga lead Marc Jacobs' model posse backstage.
LADY GAGA AND MARC JACOBS
FRONT ROW AT MARC JACOBS
This photo is proof that Young Hollywood came out in full force to support the designer's show. Andra Day, Ashley Benson, Odeya Rush, Amandla Stenberg and Kiernan Shipka take in all the action (and dress to impress!).
“Ispiration was from rock stars like Alice Cooper — very New York, very underground, very strange,” François Nars, founder and creative director for NARS cosmetics, shared of the dark, heavy eye makeup on Lady Gaga and the rest of the models at Marc Jacobs. “It’s important that the girls were more characters and personalities instead of just modeling. More like performers.”
The supermodel of the moment caps off her NYFW with a haunting walk at the Marc Jacobs show, proving her catwalk skills are in full plume.
DEBI MAZAR AND EMILY RATAJKOWSKI
The dresscode for the front row at the Marc Jacbos show was definitley “Cool AF.”
NATASHA LYONNE AND CHRISTINA RICCI
Also front row, Natasha and Christina, who bring their signature stylish edge.
ANNA WINTOUR AND BEE SHAFFER
Supporting your presidential candidate, so hor right now. Vogue's Anna Wintour joins her daughter at Marc Jacobs, and rocks her Hillary Clinton tee created by the designer.
ADWOA ABOAH, KENDALL JENNER AND ABBEY LEE KERSHAW
These models are usually seen on the catwalk, but at the Calvin Klein Collection show they decided to take in the action from the front row.
SIENNA MILLER AND ANNA WINTOUR
This might be the most affectionate photo of Anna Wintour (spotted with Sienna front row at Ralph Lauren) we've seen. ever. period.
SIENNA MILLER AND RALPH LAUREN
The actress continues her love parade at the Ralph Lauren show, posing with the designer backstage.
ZOË KRAVITZ AND TWIN SHADOW
Some couples to go to the movies on date. Others sit front row at a fashion show like Zoë and singer beau Twin Shadow at Calvin Klein.
While some stars don't dress for the cold weather at NYFW, the Australian actress proves that you can keep warm and look chic at the same time, wearing a white turtleneck and camel coat at the Calvin Klein Collection show.
We're not used to seeing Karlie this covered up on the runway, but of course she pulls it off. (See her Ralph Lauren look in motion here!)
The fashion icon takes his final walk after debuting his Fall 2016 collection.
COACH FRONT ROW
Chloë Moretz, Ciara and Emma Roberts are simultaneously giving us the urge to time travel to the ’70s and ditch our tights immediately.
The mom-to-be continues to have the most glam pregnancy ever, this time grabbing a front-row spot at the Proenza Schouler show.
If we had to give Jennifer (at the DKNY show) a fashion week award, it would be Most Continuously On-Point Lipstick.
KAREN ELSON & COCO ROCHA
Proving why they’re two of the best models in the biz, the stars serve up some flawless poses in a candid moment backstage at Anna Sui.
The Hunger Games star shows off her gorgeous dress before heading backstage to meet the Marchesa designers.
ANNA WINTOUR & BEE SHAFFER
Blake Lively isn’t the only one bringing her mother to Fashion Week – Bee is nice enough to let her mom tag along too! (Just kidding, Anna!)
Could the Carol actress (seen here at the Hugo Boss show) be scouting dresses to wear to the Oscars? It's very possible.
While the glam (matte lipsitck, bold brows and braids!) is totally Kylie, the covered up outfit she wore to the Hugo Boss show definitely is not.
The model puts a sexy twist on menswear, showing off some of that famous cleavage in her sleek black suit at the Hugo Boss show.
The actress's floral cutout dress at the Michael Kors show is giving us the urge to book a Spring Break vacay.
Also giving us vacation vibes, Whitney port in gray trousers and a white crop top at the Bibhu Mohapatra show.
The Mr. Robot star looks like she's ready to hit the catwalk in a pretty floral dress, worn with metallic pumps at the Lela Rose show.
JACKIE MIRANNE AND PIA ALONZO WURTZBACH
If you didn't take a selfie, did it really happen? The actress joins the reigning Miss Universe front row at the Naeem Khan, and they make sure to test our their selfie light before the show starts/
The new mom is clearly thinking spring already in her head-to-toe camel look with silver-white details, which she wore to the Michael Kors Collection show.
Yes, she’s wearing two necklaces, two jackets and two types of leather legwear all at once … but somehow Jamie (at the Banana Republic presentation) makes it work.
MICHAEL KORS & OLIVIA MUNN
We'll just say it: Kors and Munn sounds like the name of an awesome cop show that we'd totally watch.
The hair! The pants! The shoes! The pose! Olivia (in an Iris von Arnim sweater) proves why she’s the queen of Street Style backstage at Dennis Basso.
Walking another runway? It’s a “peace” of cake?
Narciso Rodriguez’s number one fan shows why he’s also such a fan of hers – she’s practically glowing in the front row of his show.
JENNIFER HUDSON & CYNTHIA ERIVO
The two stars of Broaday's The Color Purple prove that they also look fab in red and blue at the Michael Kors Collection show.
GIGI GORGEOUS & NIGEL BARKER
If Nigel’s giving Gigi smize tips, they’re really paying off.
AMELIA GRAY & LISA RINNA
Having a celebrity mom can pay off from time to time – like when she brings you along to your first ever fashion week, and procures you a matching outfit for you to wear.
WHITNEY PORT & STACEY BENDET
The Whitney Eve designer and the Alice + Olivia designer have a heart-to-heart chat at the latter's show.
FRAN & AVIVA DRESCHER
Yes, they're related. Yes, we'll wait while this fact blows your mind. (They're both front-row fabulous at the Chiara Boni La Petite Robe show.)
JAIME KING & KATE BOSWORTH
Despite what it may look like from this front-row Tory Burch photo, these two are not playing the mirror game from your favorite college improv class.
VERA WANG FRONT ROW
Hannah Davis, Zoë Kravitz, Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods apparently all picked from the same assortment of wooden-sole platforms, thin black chokers and V-neck tops to attend the Vera Wang show.
KIRSTEN DUNST & TESSA THOMPSON
We get the feeling that the Fargo and Creed stars would be really fun to get cocktails with, and this photo at the Rodarte adds to our suspicions.
KENDALL & KYLIE JENNER
It was snowing while the Vera Wang show went on … but not according to Kendall’s Noam Hanoch bra top and Kylie’s Vera Wang skirt/crop top set.
The star accents her classic sheath/camel coat combo with a colorful clutch and just-right red lip at the Alice + Olivia show.
Add another look to Kendall's long list of killer catwalk moments!
JENNIFER HUDSON, ZAC POSEN & KATIE HOLMES
There’s a lot of look happening between these three at the Zac Posen show – and between Jennifer’s purple shadow and Katie’s sequin stripes, we don’t know which we like most.
A prima ballerina might be the only one who could give the models on the 3.1 Phillip Lim runway a run for their money in the posture department.
We can probably guess how Petra feels about about the Vivienne Tam show.
NICKY HILTON & PEREZ HILTON
This 2007 flashback brought to you by Jeremy Scott.
The Jeremy Scott show was all about big hair and bold lips – two looks the supermodel wears well.
JENNIFER JASON LEIGH
With the Oscars mere days away, is it possible Jennifer Jason Leigh is at the Libertine show snapping suggestions to send to her stylist?
OLIVIA CULPO & EMILY RATAJKOWSKI
If someone hasn’t thought to cast these two shiny haired, bronze skinned, fabulous browed and Maiyet wearing beauties as sisters in a sitcom, someone is sleeping on the job.
JEREMY SCOTT FRONT ROW
If these four ever want to get together and form a Four Non-Blondes tribute band called Four Blondes, we’d support it. (From left: AnnaSophia Robb, Peyton List, Gigi Gorgeous, Skyler Samuels.)
The throwback tee and vintage jeans are total normcore, but her supermodel status elevates them to high fashion (at the Tommy Hilfiger show).
HAILEY BALDWIN AND GIGI HADID
There's KenGi. And then there's GiLy. The latter supermodel duo get ready to set sail on Tommy Hilfiger's catwalk.
SUPERMODEL SQUAD AT DVF
KATE BOSWORTH & HILARY RHODA
If lipstick envy exists, then these two stars (seen front row at the Carolina Herrera show) are giving us a case of it right now.
FRONT ROW AT JENNY PACKHAM
Despite the frigid N.Y.C. temps, Louise Roe and Hilary Duff look like they're read for a garden party at the Jenny Packham show. Also front row: Lorenza Izzo, Skyler Samuels, Jennifer Morrison, Danielle Panabaker, Katie Cassidy and DJ Hannah Bronfman.
HANNAH JAMES, ASHLEY MADEKWE & OLIVIA PALERMO
This stylish trio is intently concentrating on the looks hitting the catwalk at Prabal Gurung.
FRONT ROW AT OPENING CEREMONY
Charli XCX, Natasha Lyonne and Dascha Polanco all have very different ideas on what shoes are appropriate to wear to a fashion show.
LENNON & MAISY STELLA
Watch out Gigi and Bella! Lennon and Maisy (seen here at the J.Crew presentation) are quickly becoming our favorite NYFW sister duo.
OLIVIA CULPO, RACHEL HILBERT & DEVON WINDSOR
What do you get when you mix a former Miss Universe with two Victoria's Secret models? A serious case of hair envy, as this trifecta proves at the Jonathan Simkhai show.
EMILY DIDONATO & NINA AGDAL
These Sports Illustrated models look just as good in tiny bikinis on the beach as they do in pretty fringe dresses at the Jonathan Simkhai show.
SARAH SNYDER & JADEN SMITH
Model Sarah Snyder and boyfriend Jaden Smith spend Valentine's Day front row at the Opening Ceremony show. Romantic, right?
ASHLEY MADEKWE & CARA SANTANA
Meanwhile, Ashley and Cara have a Galentine's Day date at Diane von Furstenberg's fashion show/dance party.
Tha fur leopard coat might keep the mom-to-be's baby bump warm, but we're not sure how Nicky's bare legs are feeling outside the Diane von Furstenberg show.
No designer has a more adorable cheering section than Victoria Beckham, whose husband David brings all the Burberry-clad kids to support their Mum.
