We’ve spent years drooling over the dreamy creations Marchesa designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig send down runways and red carpets season after season. And though the price tags on their glam gowns can sometimes dwarf our salaries, the women have finally created something we can afford: a fragrance.

Parfum d’Extase is the first scent from the design duo, and we have an exclusive first look at the ethereal ad (left), shot by famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier.

The gorgeous lavender gown seen on the model was inspired by the scent itself. “When I thought about the design of the dress, I wanted to bring the iris, the key-note of our fragrance, to life,” Chapman tells PEOPLE. “It was important to me that I capture the intricacy and beauty of the iris through the draping and delicate beading.”

As for the fragrance itself, “I have a romantic notion of women always wanting to live beautifully, at their best, transporting someone to a timeless place,” Chapman adds. “Parfum d’extase offers a sense of fantasy and I want women to wear the fragrance and feel special.”

Speaking of muses, the geometric bottles were actually inspired by the ladies’ fashion line. “We looked at our handbags and the signature crystals they have, and we really wanted to incorporate that element,” Chapman told WWD.

The scent — which features notes of iris, freesia, violet and musk — hits Sephora stores and in September (just in time for Fashion Week!) and retails for $25-$85.
