Try Keeping Up With Every Major Kardashian-Jenner Moment at the 2020 Oscar Afterparties
Kim Kardashian West may not have won an Academy Award (yet!) for her impeccable work on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but she was rubbing elbows with Hollywood's finest at the Oscar Party on Sunday night after the awards.
She attended the event with her husband, Kanye West, and the pair made it ultra-special by wearing their Christmas gifts to each other. Kim was gifted her vintage Alexander McQueen's infamous one-shoulder “Oyster” gown.
Kanye wore a Cuban link diamond chain from Jacob & Co., gifted to him by his wife, with his all-black leather Dunhill ensemble.
According to LILY et Cie, the Beverly Hills fashion archive where Kanye purchased the gown for Kim, Andrew Bolton, curator at the MET, once said that the Oyster gown is “arguably considered the most important dress of the 21st century.”
She may have looked stunning, but Kim revealed that she didn't feel super comfortable. In fact, she couldn't sit in the gown.
"I literally have to lay down in the car, like I cannot sit up because my dress will rip or pop or something. But it’s worth it — I’m a queen," Kim revealed on her Instagram Story.
She wasn't the only Kardashian-Jenner sister in attendance. Kylie Jenner was also at the afterparty, wearing a stunning, oh-so-sparkly, navy blue strapless gown by Ralph & Russo.
Continuing the theme of doing anything for fashion, Jenner also revealed that she couldn't sit in her gown. The Kardashian-Jenner motto (after "I love my friends") is apparently "fashion is worth suffering for."
Not to worry! The youngest Kardashian eventually swapped her Vanity Fair party dress for a red, off-the-shoulder, Vivianne Westwood number and some Lorraine Schwartz jewels to wear to the next bash.
And she definitely had a little more mobility.
Inside the Vanity Fair party, Kim chatted away with Katie Couric. No doubt the pair talked about Kim's next meeting with the President of the United States.
She also hung out with Brad Pitt, who is a fan of her husband Kanye's Sunday Services. Do you think he let her hold his Oscar for Best Supporting Actor?
Kimye also hung out with Fast & Furious actor, Tyrese Gibson.
Nicky Hilton caught up with Kim inside, too, though we wonder where her sister, Paris, was...
Caitlyn Jenner was also at the Vanity Fair party, accompanied by Sophia Hutchins. Once inside, she chatted with her former step-daughter, Kim, putting to rest any rumors of a feud.
"So you're saying Brad Pitt told you he's a huge fan of Keeping Up with the Kardashians?"
Kourtney and Khloé did not make it to the Vanity Fair party, but they did score an invite to Beyoncé and JAY-Z's afterparty. Kourtney sported a party-pony and sparkled in a high-necked gown.
She also ate directly from a bag of Hawaiian rolls. Who among us has not been tempted to eat Hawaiian rolls straight from the bag?
Khloé wore a white, off-the-shoulder, long sleeved gown and styled her hair in a blunt blonde bob.
In case you were wondering if Kylie spent the night solo, she did not. Travis Scott, her ex-boyfriend and father to daughter Stormi, joined the makeup mogul in a limosine with her sisters, Kourtney and Khloé as they made their way to another party.
Kylie shared several videos to her Instagram Story from the ride, showing her big sisters dancing and fooling around in the limo.
Kylie then panned to her ex, who could be seen rolling a joint in the back seat. On the video, the reality star wrote, “It be your own family sometimes.”
