Remember the embellished Milly topper the former governor of Alaska donned to endorse Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump? (Of course you do.) Well, the funny people over at Saturday Night Live couldn’t get their hands on the sold out style, which is why they re-created the embellished topper for Tina Fey to wear during the opening monologue of Saturday’s episode. While the former governor’s statement sweater was a product of contemporary designer Michelle Smith of Milly, Fey turned to the creative minds of the weekend sketch comedy show for an almost identical (and equally as sparkly!) design.
