The L’Oreal Paris ambassadors teamed up for day one of the 2016 Cannes Film Festival in France, taking over L’Oréal’s Snapchat to take followers behind the scenes as they geared up for the famed festival’s opening ceremony.
In an Instagram post, Kroes, 31, and a bathrobe-clad Longoria, 41, both smiled as they donned fresh faces and hair clips.
“Having too much fun getting ready with Doutzen … and snapchatting, of course!” Longoria wrote alongside the photo, including the hashtags “RedCarpetReady” and “#LorealCannes2016.”
Longoria posted several snaps of herself with the model, declaring in one video clip, “look who I get to spend the day with!”
In yet another sneak peak of Longoria’s full-on glam process, the star posted a video snap of her in a makeup chair with envy-inducing glittering gold eye shadow. She declared, “This is the madness before the red carpet.”
Despite the hair clips and bathrobes, the Loréalistas made some progress in their red carpet beauty process. In an Instagram video the two were seen riding in a car (utilizing Snapchat’s silly face-distortion features, of course) as they headed out for press appearances.
Kroes uploaded a fierce Instagram shot of herself sitting in a black car, writing, “Off we go! Next stop red carpet.”
And off they went.
Soon, the stars posted photos of themselves hitting the red carpet at the festival’s opening night gala, with their respective glam processes complete.
Kroes sported a black Brandon Maxwell tuxedo gown with a velvet bodice and open back. “Here comes Doutzen up the carpet!” Longoria said in a snap video as Kroes made her way up a set of stairs.
The Telenovela star look sophisticated and sleek in a nude beaded Pamella Roland gown featuring a white paneled crepe skirt. She wore her hair down and slicked back to complete her look.
