We knew the Duchess of Cambridge was a fan of Essie, but we didn’t realize founder Essie Weingarten loved Kate, too! But it’s true: the nail polish pro tells
that her fall collection was influenced, in part, by the newlywed.

“The type of woman whose handbag speaks volumes about her, that’s who inspired me with this collection,” Weingarten says. “Like Kate Middleton when she met President Obama wearing a classic beige dress, black heels and matching black clutch. It was just so ladylike. I love the look of classic, fashionable and timeless.”

The handbag-themed fall collection, which includes neutrals such as “Lady Like” and “Glamour Purse” (above) and bolder hues like “Carry On” and “Very Structured,” retails for $8 per bottle and arrives on shelves and in salons soon.
