Television's biggest night of the year is here!

As stars get ready for the first-ever virtual Emmy Awards, many are remembering what awards nights were like before the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Ahead of the 2020 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards — which will air on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on ABC — Brooke Shields, 55, reminisced on her 2008 red carpet look when she stunned in a gorgeous fuschia Badgley Mischka gown.

"Emmys Day 💗 Remember wearing heels and a dress? Me either...," she captioned the post on Instagram.

While Mindy Kaling loves the way she felt in all of her Emmy Awards night looks, she's excited to stick with leggings this year.

"Looking back at my Emmys looks over the years! Some hits, some misses, but I loved how I felt in them at the time and that's the most important," the actress, 41, shared on Instagram alongside a slideshow of some of her gowns.

"Tonight I'll happily be wearing leggings and a free T-shirt I got from my college outdoors club freshman year," she added.
