The professional skier shows off her muscular back in a cut-out gown
When it comes to Lindsey Vonn‘s figure, she’s not shy about showing it off — and she she made that clear on the 2016 Emmys red carpet, flaunting her muscular back in her cut-out dress.
The professional skier showed up to the red carpet sporting a long-sleeved, plunging burgundy Stello dress with ruched details in the front and a high slit down the middle and David Yurman Starburst earrings with diamonds. And while the front was fairly straightforward, the rear view was a whole other story: it fully framed her ridiculous lats and delts and showed off what it looks like to be in Olympian-level shape.
To make sure her muscles were in full view, Vonn pulled her hair up into an updo, which from the front, looked to be a sleek topknot. But as as soon as she turned around, she revealed an intricate, edgy look. Her hairstylist, Charles Baker Strahan, showed off the details of the look in close-up shots on Instagram, revealing that the top half of her strands were slicked into a series of knots, while the bottom half was compiled of twisted sections that were wrapped into additional knots, forming a faux-hawk shape.
She paired her ensemble with simple makeup: rosy cheeks, black-lined lids, nude lips and a gorgeous natural-looking allover glow.
