Emmy Rossum Reveals Carolina Herrera Will Design Her Wedding Dress
"Yeah, she'll be making it. That's all I'll say!" Rossum told E! News
Emmy Rossum is this much closer to wearing her dream dress.
The Shameless star revealed that Carolina Herrera will be designing a wedding dress for her when she marries fiancé Sam Esmail.
“Yeah, she’ll be making it. That’s all I’ll say!” Rossum told E! News at Lincoln Center’s An Evening Honoring Carolina Herrera in New York City Tuesday evening, which was hosted by Hearst and Harper’s Bazaar editor-in-chief Glenda Bailey.
While Rossum, 30, will be keeping specific details about her dress under wraps, she has shared her go-to style rule. “Wear what makes you happy and what you feel comfortable in … you just gotta be you,” the actress previously told PEOPLE.
Rossum and the Mr. Robot writer/director got engaged in August 2015 after dating for two years.
At the event, Herrera received the Women’s Leadership Award after Seth Meyers, Diana Ross and Christina Ricci gave kind introductions.

On stage, Meyers joked that a Herrera “wedding dress can heal the ill,” noting how his wife Alexi wore a custom Herrera wedding gown and her bridesmaids wore a variety of Herrera archival-print dresses.
“Thank you, Mrs Herrera, for asking me to participate in honoring you tonight at Lincoln Center,” Rossum wrote on Instagram.
