Emma Watson Joins Hollywood's Bob Brigade!

If you were a fan of Emma Watson‘s pixie, get excited, because her short hair is back! (Well, sorta.)

The 25-year-old debuted a new do — an asymmetrical, chin-grazing, textured bob — chopping several inches off her light brunette, mid-length strands for a much shorter style, during a quiet salon sesh in the Soho neighborhood of N.Y.C. this week.

Watson joins a slew of celebrities who’ve all jumped on the bob bandwagon this season, including Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Sophia Bush, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicole Richie, to name a few.

The star’s mane change may come as a surprise, but for those who have been keeping tabs on the star’s hairstyles over the years, may have seen the textured cut coming. In 2011, during her pixie-cut days, the actress mentioned how excited she was for some added length, so she could finally live the bob life.

“I am trying to grow it but it’s slow, it’s taking a while obviously,” Watson previously told ELLE. “If I want to keep acting then it’s more flexible for me to have it longer for different roles, it’s quite a specific cut. I’m kind of looking forward to getting to a cute little bob stage.”

Looks like you got your wish, Watson. Time to live up life with a bob!
