Correction to the headline above: Emma Stone‘s Amazing Spider-Man style tour proves a few things about the star. Her hair is perfect. Her skin is flawless. She knows how to rock an open-back dress in the most tasteful manner. (You get the point.) But we have noticed one definitive pattern in her recent red carpet dress choices: She can’t say no to a unique neckline.

Need proof? Let’s recap the four looks above. From left, Stone selected a heavily-embellished pale blue Erdem design, featuring a woven black neckline (kinda sock-bun-esque, right?) and red beading for a photo call in Berlin. With all that’s happening on the dress, the star made the right decision to pull her hair back in a simple updo. Next up, Andrew Garfield’s leading lady really went for the neck tie trend in a sheer blouse and coordinating maxi skirt (both Valentino) for the Rome premiere, again pulling her hair pack to showcase that big bow moment.

At the Rome photocall earlier the same day, Stone opted for an all-lace look via a collared Dolce & Gabbana blouse tucked into a coordinating pencil skirt. (Headed to Coachella this weekend? You might want to take note of her spot-on hairline braid.) Finally, the red-headed beauty chose an edgy faux-leather Lanvin dress with an asymmetrical strapless neckline and unique draping. She topped the look with a chunky belt and ankle-tie heels. She also skipped any heavy jewelry — minimal accessorizing is another red-carpet Stone signature, as she seems to be a firm believer in that whole “Let the Dress Do the Talking” style mantra.

Stone works with celeb-loved stylist Petra Flannery (whose client roster also includes Claire Danes, Zoë Saldana, Mila Kunis and Megan Fox). Back in 2012, Flannery was touted by The Hollywood Reporter as a fashion expert who “likes to take risks, which boost her clients’ visibility from up-and-coming to have-arrived.”

And with this latest high-style tour under her belt, we’d definitely say Stone has arrived. Do you agree? What do you think of her recent fashion choices? Do you like a statement neckline? Share your thoughts below.
