The brunette beauty (who catapulted to Internet superfame thanks to this dance with Robin Thicke) is collaborating with Rag & Bone on their D.I.Y. campaign. What does that mean exactly? Cameras will follow Ratajkowski (who just moved to N.Y.C.) as she goes about her day wearing different jeans and clothing pieces from the brand’s latest line. And there’s no stylist, hair and makeup crew or special lighting. Get the latest on all the big celebrity ad campaigns “It’s an exciting and crazy transition time, and I wanted to capture that by shooting basically in my empty apartment and around the city — it’s a fresh start,” Ratajkowski says in a statement. “I’m working through David Byrne’s How Music Works. I’m decorating my new apartment so I’ve been obsessed with the idea of how space and living spaces affect you.” And while the actress — who will be starring opposite Ben Affleck in next year’s hotly-anticipated film adaptation of Gone Girl — wants to showcase her apartment, Rag & Bone is really happy to have her showcasing their clothes. (Duh … judging by the photos below, it’s easy to see why). Courtesy Rag & Bone “As a model and actress, Emily takes on roles and is given direction, but the beauty of the D.I.Y. Project is that the girl has free rein to do whatever she wants, so it was an opportunity for her to show how she sees herself,” says Rag & Bone founder Marcus Wainwright. Co-Creative Director David Neville adds: “The shots reveal a playfulness to her personality and she looks really cool in the clothes.” What do you think of Ratajkowski’s new gig?
