Elizabeth Olsen has quickly become one to watch on the red carpet. The actress is constantly stepping out in gorgeous designs, keeping us guessing on what she’ll wear next. But, according to the star, those beautiful dresses can come at a cost to her confidence.

“The clothes we’re expected to fit into aren’t sizes; they’re samples,” Olsen, 27, told
in its June issue. “They’re not made for chicks with boobs, so I’m very self-conscious about having them.”

Which is why she much prefers dressing for life off of the red carpet: “I have fun choosing an outfit for my best friend’s wedding, but not [something] I’m going to be judged in.”

The actress also noted that the judgment sometimes carries over into her personal life, as she says she still can’t shake the constant comparisons to her older sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley.

“You know you’re going to be compared [with them] for the rest of your life,” she said. “You grow up and get over it, and you love your family regardless.”

And there’s no doubt she loves her older sisters, but there’s one aspect of their lives she could do without: the public attention. The actress would much prefer a life outside of the spotlight. (And we certainly don’t blame her!)

“Being a celebrity for not doing anything, I don’t understand that. I won’t go to certain restaurants because I don’t want to be photographed,” she said, adding that after being followed to her local farmers’ market by the paparazzi in L.A., she started actively avoiding camera-centric locales: “I had to find a different kind of sauerkraut!”
