We think Elizabeth Banks is about to make history for the prettiest gown ever worn to a Hunger Games premiere. The actress stole the red carpet Monday at the London debut of
The Hunger Games: Mockinjay Part 1
, in a spectacular statement Elie Saab Couture gown. And we can’t stop looking at it from all angles. Now it’s your turn to stare at the gif below. (Warning: It’s mesmerizing.)

From the floral pattern to the built-in cape and delicate beading, the dress, from the designer’s Fall 2014 couture collection, is an easy pick for our Best Gowns of the Year gallery. (We also wonder if the star is vying for a spot on our 2015 Best Dressed list.) Banks teamed the romantic look with delicate jewelry and a soft braided French twist.

“It was a bit crowded in the backseat with my dress but I made it. Thanks to all who came out to @thehungergames: Mockingjay premiere tonight,” Banks captioned the below photo on Instagram, revealing another part of her outfit — a chic fur stole.

We think this year’s gown edges out the strapless citron Jason Wu dress Banks wore to last year’s world premiere of Catching Fire. Do you agree? Share your thoughts below.
