We're all just living in a drawstring daydream

Mate the Label
Sarah Ball, Market Editor: I stumbled upon this brand on Instagram and was immediately drawn to its sustainable mission — and collection of basics. I chose this organic thermal set because I liked the slightly cropped wide leg and that the top is more of a tee, which makes it easy to layer under coats and dress up if you want. It's super comfy and holds its shape well (no saggy knees or loose bottom marks here!).

Pangaia
Jackie Fields, Senior Style Beauty & Editor: If you ask me, there are sweatsuits, and then there are sweatsuits…The former I throw on to lounge around my apartment, or to walk my dog Bowie in at odd hours. The latter I only take out on special occasions, like photo opps in Las Vegas. The latter is what Tracee Ellis Ross wore on a recent Instagram Live to show off the latest additions to her Pattern Beauty line. I ogled at it, wondering the brand, and combed the comments looking for answers. “Pangaia,” fans said. “Sold out,” the site said. “Oh, I’ll wait,” I said. And here we are. I opted for a slightly oversize hoodie, as that’s my personal vibe. I am 5’2”, so was surprised that their “Track Pants” hit at my ankles. But not going to lie, I quite like the look. And while my original intent was to fold it away until I can floss it on social media, it’s so comfy, I might just break my own sweatsuit rules.

Everybody & Everyone
Colleen Kratofil, Style Editor: When I say I gravitated towards this sweatsuit because of the name — I'm not joking. There's something about wearing the "Disco" sweatshirt and track pant that sounded way more festive than throwing on another cotton pullover for the 200th day in a row. Even though I am not traveling to see family this holiday, I'm excited to wear this set (Ugg slippers too!) on the many Zoom calls I'll be on throughout the day.
The neckline is slouchy and cool, the velour fabric gives it a retro touch and the track pants are well-fitted and incredibly comfy. I can easily make a grocery store run while looking somewhat put together. Until I can go to a real disco party again, this "Disco" set will have to do.

RicherPoorer
Hanna Flanagan, Style & Beauty Assistant: I truly have not taken this off since I got it two weeks ago! It’s the easiest “running errands” outfit I own, and the army green color is so on trend for fall and winter. Elastic cuffs make these sweatpants look polished when paired with sneakers and slimming when tucked into boots. My favorite way to style the hoodie is under a heavy trench coat like I did here, but it’s also lightweight enough to layer over a bodysuit or a turtleneck. What's more, both pieces are made of recycled fleece. We love to see it!

Rails
Brittany Talarico, Senior Style Editor: While some people hit tie-dye fatigue around June, I am still here rocking the trend thanks to this buttery soft set from Rails, that seems to be attached to my body. It has the perfect relaxed fit and seems to get softer with each wash. It also maintains its shape and doesn't stretch out.

Ugg
Andrea Lavinthal, Style + Beauty Director: Even if I start the day in pants with an actual button, I inevitably end up in a sweatsuit by the afternoon. I have about six different matching sets in rotation, but this one is my current favorite. The details — like balloon sleeves and velvet trim on pockets — make it feel more elevated than your average crewneck and jogger. Plus, it’s made from a plush-feeling 48% recycled cotton and comes in seven cool colors ranging from basic black to the deep team hue I’m wearing here. It looks cute with sneakers, but my favorite way to wear it is with hiking boots. Once it gets really cold out, I’ll throw my giant puffer over it and stay cozy all winter.

Splendid
Kaitlyn Frey, Assistant Style & Beauty Editor: Since the beginning of quarantine, I've basically been living in loungewear (haven't we all?!). Unlike other sweats that I reserve for indoor-wear only, this waffle knit and jogger set looks so stylish that I feel confident wearing it everywhere from walks with my dog Kobe to grocery store runs. Even my boyfriend can't stop complimenting them, which is great since I don't plan on wearing any other sweatsuit this holiday season.
