The Gifts Our Editors Really Want This Season

Chloé Susanna Boots
Andrea Lavinthal, Style + Beauty Director: I go on Net-a-Porter daily just to visit these boots (and check if by some miracle, they went on sale). I don't actually expect someone to buy them for me, but in case my incredibly smart, kind, loving and generous significant other is reading this, know that I'll wear them every single day (except when it's raining) and never ask for another pair of shoes again.

SkinCeuticals Custom Serum
Jackie Fields, Beauty Editor: Something in my skincare regimen is working wonders for my complexion, and I can’t help but think it’s this custom serum that I added about six months ago. Yes, you have to get your personalized potion from a dermatologist, but this innovation (it’s formulated in an Instagram-worthy compounding machine right before your eyes) is worth the visit. As I’m about to finish my second bottle, I’m hoping to find the gift of another bottle in my stocking.

GHD Styler
Kaitlyn Frey, Style & Beauty Assistant: There's a reason tons of celeb hairstylists are obsessed with GHD's styler. It's smart technology delivers just the right amount of heat and power after detecting your hair's needs, so you can straighten more efficiently than ever before. I've been dying to give it a whirl (but it is a big investment!), so I'm really hoping I get this gorgeous holiday blue version for the holidays.

Jen Atkin x Calpak Collection
Sharon Kanter, Deputy Style Director: I'm obsessed with this new luggage collection by celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin. (You may know her clients, the Kardashians... yes?) As an in-demand glammer, she poured all of her knowledge about traveling efficiently into this four-piece collection, which includes a carry-on, medium case, large case and trunk. They come in four colors, like red (shown), black, gold and rose gold. I so want to roll onto my next flight with all of these... or just one to start.

The Arrivals Moya III Jacket
Brittany Talarico, Senior Style Editor: I fell in love with this jacket on Instagram last winter, and have been thinking about it ever since. That's why it's sitting right on the top of my list. I've seen it styled with jeans and great boots, layered over a slip dress and basically on every fashion influencer's Instagram feed. It's one of those investment pieces that I'll have forever. It's warm, crazy chic and goes with everthing I own. (Here's to hoping my husband reads this.)

AUrate Mini Bezel Studs
Alex Apatoff, Lifestyle Director: Our resident shopping expert Sarah Ball introduced me to this site that's all about ethical, sustainable jewelry at attainable prices - and she also introduced me to the joy of a perfect "ear party." Ever since, I've had my eye on these teeny, delicate bezel-set studs that I'll wear every day, mix-and-match with other pieces and feel great about for decades - they're definitely the definition of a great investment piece.

Little Liffner Tote
Colleen Kratofil, Style Writer-Reporter: I'm what you would call a tiny purse girl, and this too-cute mini tote needs to join my handbag collection. I love that this has the feel of a wear-everywhere tote but is small enough to hold just the absolute essentials. For as often as I plan on wearing this, it will definitely get its money's worth.

Chanel Hydra Beauty Nourishing Lip Care
Alex Apatoff, Lifestyle Director: I am pretty sure I put this exact lip balm in our "editors' picks" gift guide once a year and write the same thing: "If you do the cost-per-wear equation, and factor in the fact that I wear this every day and it takes me all year to use it up, and that it works better than anything else I've tried, it's almost like $50 isn't a crazy price to pay for lip balm!" Though I haven't quite convinced myself of that fact, this is a great price point for my sister to spend - and if it seems dinky, I'll just remind her that the best things come in small packages.

Beekman 1802 Snow Forest Gift Set
Colleen Kratofil, Style Writer-Reporter: Nothing looks chicer than when a bathroom has matching hand-care products. And this year, I'm turning my washroom into a winter wonderland with Beekman 1802's Snow Forest set. This comes with all of the brand's beloved (and ultra-moisturizing) goat milk hand products (the Whipped Body Cream is my particular fave) and the seasonal scent smells just like freshly fallen snow mixed with soft pine. Basically, heaven.

Jennifer Fisher Baby Lilly Hoop Earrings
Sarah Ball, Market Editor: I'm usually not a big earring type of gal, but lately I've really been loving all of the oversized hoops. I love this pair from Jennifer Fisher because they are thick and large enough to make a statement, but wearable with all of my everday outfits.

Tom Ford Sunglasses
Andrea Lavinthal, Style + Beauty Director: I'm due with my second child in a few months and as I learned the first time around, every new mom needs a pair of oversize sunglasses to hide their dark circles. This Tom Ford style is super chic and half off the original price.

Brahmin Backpack
Sharon Kanter, Deputy Style Director: I never get more compliments than when I wear a Brahmin bag, as the faux croc texture gives people the impression it's the real deal — only without the price tag (or the violation of animal rights!). This backpack style is on my wish list: Not only does it fit the essentials, it's roomy enough for my book and a change of shoes.

AHAVA Dead Sea Crytal Osmoter Facial Serum X6
Sheila Baylis, Health Editor: A trip to the Dead Sea this year resulted in an addiction to this anti-aging product. I filled my carry-on bag to the brim, only to realize you can just buy it on Amazon. Now it's time for me to restock (hint, hint Santa!). The serum smells heavenly, and makes that line between my eyebrows disappear after just one application.
