Verdict: While it won't bring your mani back to 100 percent, our tester found the formula worked great for quick touch-ups on barely-nicked paint jobs.

Verdict: “It's the perfect marriage of two great hair products,” says our tester. “I got blowout-worthy volume right away.”

What is it: An airy, liquid-in-cushion foundation compact created with Korean beauty technology.
Claim: The one-of-a-kind formula offers full coverage, hydrates and gives skin a major glow.
Verdict: It went on smooth, lasted through most of the day and delivered on the dewiness, says our tester.

What is it: An easy-to-use, precision-tip tool that erases messy makeup mistakes.
Claim: Instantly corrects smudges, smears and marks created by pencil, gel and liquid eyeliner.
Verdict: It cleans up marks and over-drawn cat-eyes in a pinch. Our tester not only loved the easy-to-use pen, but its wallet-friendly price tag, too.

What is it: A ceramic styler that works as a wand and an iron.
Claim: Heats up in 50 seconds and can be used with and without its Marcel clip to create effortless waves in minutes.
Verdict: “The wand heated up almost instantly and was easy to use,” says our tester. “The Marcel clip required a bit of practice, but after I got the hang of it, curling my hair only took a few minutes.”

What is it: Clear patches packed with acne-fighting acids.
Claim: Reduces redness and fights breakouts — and unlike your acne cream, can be worn out of the house.
Verdict: The Peter Thomas Roth stickers went on clear and were almost invisible, says our tester, meaning that daytime treatment of a blemish erased it by nightfall. The Nexcare covers were less invisible (so maybe not for out-of-house use) but certainly worked.

INDIVIDUAL GEL POLISH REMOVERS
What is it: Pre-saturated nail polish remover packets, worn on each fingernail to remove stubborn gel.
Claim: Dissolves gel polish from nails within 10 minutes.
Verdict: These individual soaked finger hats are great in theory, but just one packet (and just 10 minutes) isn't enough to remove stubborn polish. You may need a few 20-minute applications.

INSTANT ANTI-WRINKLE CREAM
What is it: A hyaluronic acid-heavy moisturizer made with tripeptides, said to cause muscle contraction.
Claim: Reduces signs of aging (think fine lines and wrinkles) in just three days.
Verdict: Skin felt firmer and plumper after three days, but our tester says her fine lines didn't disappear overnight.

What is it: A cordless, handheld airbrush tool.
Claim: Precisely applies foundation evenly for that “airbrushed” finish (hence the name).
Verdict: After using, our tester said her skin looked “flawless.” But because the tool is pretty high maintenance, our tester preferred to use it only for special occasions.

LINE-ERASING BLURRING STICK
What is it: A weightless formula that smooths and controls oil.
Claim: Diminishes signs of aging like with the swipe of a stick.
Verdict: After applying, our tester instantly noticed the size of her pores shrunk and any uneven texture from former acne scars was smoothed over.
Buy It! Philosophy Instant Miracle Worker Line-Erasing Blur Stick, $32; philosophy.com
What it is: A winged-out tool that acts as a barrier against makeup smears.
Claim: Helps mascara go on smooth and smudge-free.
Verdict: Though it was a bit awkward to use at first, it definitely prevented any of those awful moments where you ruin your perfectly applied eyeshadow with one missed swipe.

What is it: A shea butter-enriched lip gloss.
Claim: Reacts to lips by changing colors — from barely there to bright pink — in seconds.
Verdict: “I swiped on the clear gloss and it turned neon pink almost immediately,” says our tester. “Bonus: It wasn't sticky!”

What is it: A sonic makeup application tool that taps on foundation.
Claim: Its patented sponge applies on makeup at a rate of 15,000 taps per minute, giving users a flawless, even coverage — better than brushes, sponges and similar tools.
Verdict: It smoothed on liquid foundation quickly and smoothly, and you only need a few drops of your go-to foundation, since the sponge goes a long way.
