Demi Lovato just added a new tattoo to her body art collection: the face of a lion on her left hand.

After leaving the Time 100 gala in New York City, the star met up with famed tattoo artist, Bang Bang, for her new animal art, which covers her wrist and most of her hand. And while this might be her most visible tattoo to date, it’s certainly not her first. The star has a large variety of ink all over her body — from a cross that sits alongside her new lion, to a flock of birds down her arm, a series of roman numerals along her rib cage and many more.

Wondering why the singer’s new lion looks so familiar? That’s because Justin Bieber and Cara Delevingne also have lion tats inked by Bang Bang.

Bieber’s, which he added to his collection just last month, is fairly large and sits on his chest, while Delevingne’s is a much smaller version inked on her pointer finger.

But Lovato maintains her tattoo was not modeled off of anyone else — and she took to Twitter to set the record straight.

“You can’t get a tattoo these days without someone saying you’ve copied someone or you’re “matching” someone. That’s not the case folks,” she wrote.
