After debuting her new blonde hairdo just five days ago, singer Demi Lovato has gone back to her brunette roots.

The 24-year-old “Confident” singer showed off her “back to brown” look, in an Instagram Stories shot shared with fans on Friday.

So what did Lovato change her look up so fast? Did she decide blondes don’t really have more fun?

Unclear — but the move to blonde appears to be tied to a promotion for Wella Koleston hair care Lovato and the brand were sharing over social media.

Of course, Lovato doesn’t need a hair campaign to change up her color. She’s pulled off nearly every cut, color and style imaginable. She’s dyed her hair every color from pink to purple and blue — has tried short, long, and even shaved cuts. Heck, she was even blonde back in 2013.

She’ll have even more time to change up her hair in 2017 — when she says she’ll be be “stepping back from the Hollywood limelight.”

“So excited for 2017,” she tweeted on Oct. 4. “Taking a break from music and the spotlight.. I am not meant for this business and the media.”

Fans were shocked to learn about Lovato’s surprising revelation with one follower asking the former Disney Channel star: “But are you coming back??”

Lovato’s response wasn’t so reassuring. “Dunno. It doesn’t feel worth it anymore. I’d rather do charity work to be honest,” she wrote.
