CMA Awards co-host, Carrie Underwood, warned us that there are a lot of colorful outfit changes in store for the night, and so far, we have no complaints! She’s kicking things off with gorgeous bronzed skin, sleek strands and an eye-popping coral gown.
She stepped out on the CMA Awards red carpet in a low-cut sleeveless Gauri+Nainika gown with a peplum that wrapped around to join her cascading train. And she accessorized the bright dress with bursts of sparkly diamonds — from her triangle-shaped ear cuff and completely sparkly danglers (both Anne Sisteron) to her wrap-around diamond and floral rings (a mix of Graziela Gems and Pasquale Bruni designs).
She kept her beauty look understated, letting her bronze glow take center stage, but of course she played up her eyes (she’s a self-described “eye girl“) with shimmery shadow and bold lashes. Plus, we’re giving her bonus points for matching her lip and mani to her dress!

She told PeopleStyle her outfits throughout the evening will be all about the bold and beautiful hues. “There are a lot of bright colors,” she said. “Some years I feel like we’ll get dresses from designers and it’s all the same color or there’s a lot of black or dark choices. But this year there’s a lot of fun things — there’s a lot of color happening which I’m really excited about. So I will be changing my clothes. It’ll be fun.”
