Hot on the heels of Claudia Schiffer’s announcement that she’s launching her own clothing line, the German supermodel has revealed some more details about the exciting project. Keeping with her heritage, the model has teamed up with Iris von Arnim, a luxury German cashmere label to launch her debut line, called the Claudia Schiffer Cashmere Collection, for fall/winter 2011. As creative director of the brand, the stylish mom-of-three says she can’t wait to get started on her new role. “I have been looking for the right partnership for a very long time and I feel very lucky to have found it,” says Schiffer of her new business partner, von Arnim, dubbed “the Cashmere Queen” in her native country. “We have the same inherent values and I was delighted to find a company that was able to interpret my vision,” added the model-turned-designer in a statement. With Schiffer’s love of classic knitwear and her effortless, sophisticated style, we cant wait to hear more about the capsule collection, due to launch next fall. Stay tuned! — Monique Jessen
