Lifestyle Style Christian Siriano Reveals Leslie Jones Plans to Auction Her 'Ghostbuster' 's Premiere Dress The designer teases that he and Leslie Jones have more fun fashion collaborations in the works By People Staff Updated on December 19, 2019 04:26 AM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Paul Zimmerman/WireImage Christian Siriano answered Leslie Jones’ fashion call after the actress lamented on social media that no one would dress her for the Ghostbusters premiere. With a little magic from the Project Runway alum, Jones hit the red carpet in a stunning, off-the-shoulder red gown, looking like a total “Pretty Woman.” Which was the goal, he tells PEOPLE on Wednesday at the Kiehl’s National LifeRide for amfAR Celebrates in N.Y.C. “It wasn’t really at first and then we were like, ‘Oh well, maybe we can make it red and we’ll have our Pretty Woman moment,’ and it kind of just turned into that,” he says of the gown’s similarities to one Julia Roberts donned in the 1990 RomCom. Now that the gown has graced Jones’ curves, it will find a new home, Siriano reveals. “She’s gonna auction the dress off I think or donate it to — she works with a bunch of young theater kids,” Siriano shares. “So hopefully we do something with it for like the younger generation so they feel good.” RELATED VIDEO: Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon Do the Jess Cagle Exercise Siriano, 30, and Jones are already plotting their next sartorial collaboration, he hints, saying, “We’re gonna do a couple of things for another thing that she’s doing.” “I just love her and I’m a huge SNL fan,” he gushes. “I’ve dressed some of the other women on the show. It just was easy, I thought it was amazing to make something for her and also I was very excited for Ghostbusters in general, so it just all worked out.” The designer also has Fashion Week coming up, so he says he’s been busy working on his new collection – and enjoying newlywed bliss. Siriano and love Brad Walsh tied the knot in a stunning outdoor ceremony near New York City, last month. “It’s really nice,” he tells PEOPLE of life as Mr. and Mr. “It’s pretty normal, but it’s great. It feels really good. You know when they say you have a wedding then you have remorse afterward? It is really sad, I want to do it again.” Of the stunning fete – which required guests to wear white while the grooms stood out in black – Siriano says it was everything he hoped for “and more.” “It was actually one of the most fun parties we ever had,” he says. “It was like a really great night.” The pair will head to Barcelona this Fall, once Siriano gets a little break. “Never a dull moment,” he says.
