For Charlize Theron, there is no choice when it comes to picking her designer duds: it’s always Dior. The A-list actress has been a spokesmodel for the famed French fashion house since 2004, and even after 6 years, Charlize still can’t get enough of the label. “Dior is Dior–it’s one of the greatest houses that’s ever existed,” she told PEOPLE at a dinner sponsored by the brand at L.A.’s Soho House on Tuesday night. And just to prove her point, the statuesque beauty rocked the label from head-to-toe, right down to her makeup. But it’s not just the couture that keeps the the Academy-Award-winner loyal to the brand. “[Dior] has been an incredible support system for me and my work and my philanthropy,” she told PEOPLE during the event, which celebrated her charitable organization, Africa Outreach Project. “I feel like this partnership that we’ve had over the years has been…something I hold very dear. They’ve been really loyal to me,” she said of the label’s support of her projects in her native South Africa, from which she had just returned after working to create mobile clinics in rural communities. “I’ve been back probably seven times now. I think that the only way the success of this program will continue is to be on the ground and to see what does and doesn’t work,” she said of her hands-on role. Explaining what inspired her to take up the cause three years ago, she noted, “I grew up and spent half my life [in South Africa]. It’s in my blood and my bones. It’s who I am. I don’t think it’s possible to turn your back on something that you know.”  — reporting by Michelle Ward
