Ciara Has a Lob, Marion Cotillard Gets Bangs and More Hair Changes to Add to Your Pinterest Board

See Hollywood's latest mane makeovers

The new year is rapidly approaching — which means it’s time to revamp your beauty routine, go for an outfit you’d never try, and transform your hairstyle. Cases in point: Ciara, Marion Cotillard, Olivia Munn and Kate Upton, who are all getting a head start on their mane makeovers. So before you head to your hairstylist for your last cut of 2016, see what the stars are up to.

Ciara went from long blonde locks to a collarbone-length, brunette lob with cool blonde highlights. The mom-to-be debuted the look in an Instagram video, writing “I’m Good I’m Good I’m Great”. And whether it’s pregnancy or her new do that has her glowing, it’s working for her.

Taking a cue from Ciara, Olivia Munn swapped her long strands for a brand new lob as well. The star’s stylist, Christian Wood, tells PeopleStyle of the change, “We’ve talked about cutting her hair for quite some time now, but tonight we finally did it! In the end, it was about 12 inches off. To compliment this new look, we wanted a style that was cool and effortless. Her hair is quite straight naturally so we went a bit choppier with the cut and created an overall undone look.”

And Marion Cotillard also went for a new — yet not-so-permanent — look, with a blunt set of bangs. The star showed off her fringe, which she paired with a bun and a bold red lip, at an Assassin’s Creed photocall in Madrid Wednesday. But by Thursday’s appearance in London, Cotillard had already reverted back to her usual side-swept waves. (That makes her super on-trend – check out all these other stars who have gone for one-day-only bangs lately.)

And last but not least, Kate Upton opted for a chop this week as well, trimming a few inches off of her bouncy blonde lob.

Lesson learned: entering 2017 with split ends is simply not an option.
