Forget friendship bracelets! These stars found a more permanent way to cement – or rather, ink – their BFF status

Stark sisters for life! Game of Thrones stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams sealed their friendship with permanent (and matching!) art on their arms after visiting U.K.-based tattoo artist Miss Kat Paine. The ink in question? The date 07.08.09. Although they didn't say at first what meaning it held, Turner revealed to Entertainment Weekly that it was when the two first met, explaining "That date always meant a lot to us and we always said we were gonna get it done."

Cousins are the original BFFs, so it makes sense that Ireland (daughter of Alec) and Hailey (daughter of Billy) Baldwin teamed up for matching middle finger tattoos of their shared last name from Hailey’s tattoo artist of choice, Jon Boy.

The models gave Snapchatters a special surprise by documenting their big night out at an N.Y.C. parlor. Jenner went for a teensy white dot on her middle finger, (which photographer friend, Joe Termini, also got done), while Baldwin opted for a lowercase “g” behind her ear in honor of Georgia, a young girl with a rare brain disorder.

“That moment when you realize the silly joke tattoo you got with your band 8 years ago means that your sweet stunt double has to have it drawn on too,” the singer wrote on Instagram, along with the hashtag #babiesonmyfeet. Meaning, yup, that squiggle is exactly what it looks like.

The singer/actress gave us serious Casper Meets Wendy flashbacks when she and her boo, Masterson (who’s best known for her role as Tara on The Walking Dead), got adorable ghosts on their forearms. The BFFs also have matching hearts on their wrists.

While the couple never explicitly admitted to getting arrow tattoos together, their cryptic social media posts all but suggest it. “What did I do this weekend? Got some ink with my best friends. 3 arrows,” Hyland captioned a collage of her and a friend on Instagram. The next day, Sherwood posted a selfie of his new design with the caption, “Evidence of last night’s escapades!!”

“So happy that my bubba is in town even if it is just for a night!” Osbourne shared on Instagram, along with a snap of their matching hearts. We’re guessing this makes breaking a pinky swear even more unthinkable.

Kelly Osbourne isn’t the only celeb Delevingne has a coordinating tat with. She and her fellow model bestie have identical double-D tattoos. (The letters stand for Delevingne-Dunn; get your mind of out the gutter.) The two sang their way through the pain with hits including God Save The Queen, Kumbaya and A Whole New World. And yes, they filmed the whole thing.

In perhaps one of the cutest bromance stories ever, the singers decided to get inked together after discovering they both loved the same British cartoon character, a penguin named Pingu, as kids. Their eternal bond doesn’t end there though. Sheeran actually gave Styles a tattoo (a mini padlock on his wrist) in 2013.
