Bye, Chanel! Emma Roberts Ditches Her Scream Queens Extensions

See the star's short new do

Looks like Emma Roberts is officially retiring Chanel for the season! The Scream Queens star ditched her super-long extensions for a short, shoulder-grazing lob, and debuted the chic chop on Instagram.

The 24-year-old actress was sporting super-long, bright blonde extensions for her role as Chanel Oberlin on Scream Queens. But now that the show has ended, the star turned to her go-to mane ladies, celebrity hairstylists Riawna Capri and Nikki Lee, who co-own L.A.-based salon, Nine Zero One, to shed her character’s tresses.

“That’s a wrap on filming #ScreamQueens ?? bye Chanel ??? hello short hair @riawnacapri @nikkilee901,” she captioned the reveal snapshot.

But for those who have been keeping tabs on Roberts’ beauty routine (like us, duh), the chop didn’t come as too much of a surprise. The star previously opened up to the
New York Times
about her temporary strands, saying she was ready to remove them once the show wrapped.

“Right now I have extensions for Scream Queens. When Scream Queens ends, I’m going to cut it all off,” she told the
NYT
. “I love having it [blonde] and short because I can just roll out of bed and put some sea salt spray in it and be out the door.”

Now that she’s back with a short cut, do you think her fellow Chanels will follow suit?
