"Tan taught me everything I know about a French tuck," Brie Larson told Oprah Winfrey in a cute Instagram video
The Captain Marvel star, 29, happily showed off her ensemble to the mogul, 65, while at the Women in the World Summit in New York City.
Larson wore a camel sweater which was half tucked into a gray skirt that showcased her black belt. She paired the outfit with knee-high black boots. Winfrey and her friend, news anchor Gayle King, openly admired the outfit with Winfrey saying in a video she shared on Instagram, “You are your own ad. Look at you girl!”
“I love this half in, half out thing,” she continued, referencing Larson’s half-tucked sweater.
The actress said she learned the style hack from style guru Tan France, saying, “I learned it from Queer Eye. The French tuck. Come on, you gotta do the French tuck! Tan, from Queer Eye. Don’t you watch it?”
“Yes. Yeah, we know Tan,” Winfrey said.
Larson added, “Tan taught me everything I know about a French tuck.”
The actress’ lessons with the Queer Eye star paid off as Winfrey said, “I’ve never seen it look this good.”
In the caption of the video, Winfrey wrote, “Ran into @brielarson back stage at @womenintheworld. She was wearing the cutest outfit ever and gave me lessons in French Tuck-ing that @tanfrance had given her.”
France stars on the popular Netflix show alongside Bobby Berk, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness and Karamo Brown.
Season 3 of Queer Eye is currently streaming on Netflix.
