Now that Memorial Day has come and gone, summer is officially upon us! Which means celebs, like you, are doing everything they can to beat the heat. One of the easiest quick fixes? A big hair chop. Below, check out new cuts and styles from Victoria Beckham, Ashlee Simpson and Doutzen Kroes for your own seasonal hair inspiration.

First up, Beckham, who traded her long waves for an updated long bob, or “lob.” The designer showed off her new do, created by John Frieda hairstylist Luke Hersheson, in a mid-pampering glam squad selfie. “#chopchop X @lukehersheson ✂️@wendyrowe using Victoria Beckham make up X Kisses VB,” she wrote on Instagram.

It’s sleek, chic and very Posh Spice, so we’re automatically fans. And now that she’s shown off the final look — a wavy style adorned with a dainty flower crown — we’ve even bigger fans.

While Beckham opted for a major mane change, Simpson Ross reverted to an old favorite (which, though not technically “cooler” is still plenty cool): textured, mermaid-like extensions.

Over the weekend, the singer stopped in at celeb-loved Nine Zero One Salon in West Hollywood for a extension refresh, courtesy of celebrity hairstylist and colorist Nikki Lee. The super-long, tousled hairstyle, which now falls several inches past the star’s chest, adds some much needed texture to her previous sleek, straight style.

“Fresh texture😍for the OG of awesome long blonde hair!🙌🏼 @ashleesimpsonross #NineZeroOne #901Girl 📸:@realevanross,” Lee captioned the star’s reveal photo on Instagram.

And rounding out our list of stars who welcomed tress changes this weekend is Victoria’s Secret Angel Doutzen Kroes, who is now rocking a choppy mid-length cut, thanks to a last-minute, on-set haircut by celebrity hairstylist Frankie Foye.

Before the unexpected chop, Kroes worn her Bombshell waves well past her chest. Now, the textured do falls to her shoulders, leaving her with just enough length to still pull it back into her favorite style: the supermodel topknot.
