Blake Lively Gives a Style Nod to Her Sister Robyn's Teen Witch Character Louise Miller

Her recent ensemble may have been inspired by her older sister Robyn's 1989 film Teen Witch

Blake Lively has been slaying her Shallows press tour with jaw-dropping designer fashions. And a recent ensemble may have been inspired by her older sister Robyn’s 1989 film Teen Witch.

In a bit of a “who wore it better” parody, the pregnant actress gave a nod to Robyn’s character Louise Miller, who made the voluminous hairstyle and chic long-sleeve navy dress popular back in the early ’90s. “Who wore it bett.. SHUT-UP!! We all know Teen Witch wins. Always. All ways,” the wife of Ryan Reynolds wrote on Instagram Thursday.

The night before, Blake stepped out looking glamorous in a navy long sleeve mini-dress from Monse’s Resort ’17 collection. The blonde beauty sported a thick bouncy curls and accessorized with Christian Louboutin heels and hoop earrings by OFIRA.

While Blake and Robyn share a great sense of style, their flair for fashion may have been passed down by their mother, Elaine.

“You have to love the ‘Finest Hour’ dress, that’s a classic,” Robyn told Buzzfeed about her Teen Witch role.

“This is actually something no one knows, but my mom was really the one who created the entire style for Teen Witch. I’m dead serious. She was super involved, and is super creative, so I wore a lot of my actual clothes in the movie. Truly, Louise was my mom’s vision. She really created an iconic character,” she said in 2014, which was the 25th anniversary of the film.
