Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Bombshell! Blake Lively Channels Cinderella in Major Ball Gown at Cannes
She already has her Prince Charming (that would be Ryan Reynolds), and now Blake Lively has the fairytale wardrobe to match. For her 10th official look at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, the 28-year-old star dressed as a modern-day Cinderella in an icy blue confection that proves her title as the Style Queen of Cannes.

At the Slack Bay premiere Friday, the L’Oréalista hit the carpet in a pastel Vivienne Westwood Couture ball gown with a tiered ballgown skirt and embellished bodice, plus Christian Louboutin shoes. She even had a similar updo to the Disney princess, accessorizing her swept-back style with a metallic head band. (This all confirms that a fashion dream is a wish Blake Lively makes.)
Lively channeled another Disney star while getting glam — sea witch Ursula of Little Mermaid fame. “Who cares about princesses, it’s all about villain inspiration tonight!” she wrote … mere moments before hitting the red carpet in her Cinderella couture.
Lively told USA Today in a recent interview that she is all about black tie dressing.
“I like dressing up. It’s fun,” she shared. “I don’t have a stylist. It’s very personal. It’s a lot of thought. I’m the one who goes online and finds the outfits, I call them in and try them all on. But I love that. That’s why I enjoy old Hollywood. There was beauty in the presentation.”
She added: “There wasn’t sloppiness that sometimes happens. I think it’s nice to dress up.”
