When Sir John, makeup artist to the one and only Beyoncé (as well as Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss and other genetically gifted humans), announced a beauty gallery during New York Fashion Week, we said, “hmmm, tell us more.” It turned out to be a one-day event including a panel discussion about beauty, fashion and technology, a Master Class for beauty superfans, and an actual art gallery featuring pieces by artist friends like Sara Golish and Donald Robertson, all inspired by Sir John’s clients. PeopleStyle stopped by to check out the space — and of course, get a makeup how-to from the man himself, just for our readers. The look — a combination of Beyoncé’s Super Bowl and 2016 VMAs looks — is not only gorgeous, but totally copyable. Watch below!

There’s so much to love from this. For instance, we love how Sir John finds art he loves on Instagram, just like we do. We love how soothing his voice is. We also love that Sara Golish painting and need it hanging in the PEOPLE offices immediately.

Will you be trying out Sir John’s Beyoncé-inspired look? What look do you hope to see him do for Beyoncé at the Emmys?
