19 International Women's Day Collections That Celebrate Female Empowerment - Here's What to Buy
It’s been nearly a decade since we’ve first celebrated International Women’s Day, which falls on March 8. It’s the day we honor the movers and shakers, both past and present, who have paved — and are continuing to pave — the way for women around the world. To celebrate, many brands have dropped empowering styles that pay homage to women’s equality.

Reese Witherspoon teamed up with Elizabeth Arden for the second year in a row to empower women through beauty with a charitable lipstick. The shade Pink Punch from the beauty brand’s Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick has been repackaged with Witherspoon’s signature. All the proceeds from this limited-edition lipstick will be donated to UN Women, a global champion for women and girls, gender equality, and women empowerment.

The luxury retailer and female-fronted company has collaborated with six designers to create exclusive T-shirts with proceeds benefitting Women for Women International, a non-profit organization that helps women living in war-torn countries rebuild their lives. Stars like Nicole Kidman, Diane Kruger and Taraji P. Henson are already on-board, showing their support by posing in the tees.
In honor of International Women’s Day, Pottery Barn partnered with four female artists through Women Who Draw to design limited-edition art prints, which are being sold exclusively online. When you purchase one of the gorgeous prints, 20 percent of the profits will go to HERproject, a non-profit that empowers low-income women working in global supply chains to provide them with training programs on health, financial inclusion, and gender equality.
