Bella Thorne Dyes Hair Strawberry Blonde, Says Goodbye to Her Signature Red Shade

Looks like the blonde is back for Bella Thorne! The 18-year-old actress debuted an ombré strawberry blonde hue on Instagram on Monday, and the lighter shade is giving us flashbacks to her former blonde days.

“Your girl is blonde again ❤️???,” she captioned the reveal selfie.

Before ditching her rich red strands for the new strawberry blonde hue, Thorne previously experimented with the lighter tone last summer for a movie role, but, she says, she wasn’t a fan of straying from her signature auburn shade.

“I’m naturally blonde, so it wasn’t like it was so big for me,” Thorne, previously told PEOPLE, adding that she was eager to return to her go-to red.

“I’m not completely digging the blonde, to be honest,” she said. “But once I get in the sun and I get a little more of a tan, I think it’ll look better. I think I’m just going to keep it for summer … And then for winter, I’m going to go back to my red, my luscious red.”

Whether the new hue is for an upcoming role or just a new year switch-up, the lighter shade definitely complements Thorne’s fair coloring. Besides, maybe she just wants to find out if blondes really do have more fun?
