Bella Hadid Didn't Fall at Michael Kors, She's Just 'a Professional Break Dancer Now'
The model is clearly taking her tumble in stride
When your job is to parade up and down a runway every day five times a day in front of huge crowds of people, taking a tumble becomes inevitable even in the most elite of catwalker’s careers. And on Wednesday, it just happened to be Bella Hadid‘s turn to feel the wrath of her own five inch heels, wiping out at Michael Kors. But it seems we misunderstood the scenario; as the model explained on her Twitter account, she was just showing off a few of her latest dance moves.
Despite tripping up yesterday, Bella handled it like the pro she is, laughing it off before picking herself right back up and continuing on her way. She briefly referenced the moment on Instagram later that day, sharing a video of her strutting her stuff at Michael Kors writing in the caption, “(seconds before ??).”
But last night, the Vogue Paris cover girl finally addressed the fall the Internet couldn’t stop talking about, clearing the air once and for all by revealing that she actually didn’t trip, she just wanted to take the opportunity of a captive audience to show off a few of her b-girl skills. Hadid wrote on Twitter, “Guys I’m a professional break dancer now I forgot to tell u.”
To her credit, however, she did manage to stay firmly upright for her last two shows of the evening, walking in both Ralph Lauren and Anna Sui (accompanied by her sister Gigi) without so much as a hiccup.
Considering how busy and multi-talented the Hadid sisters are, we actually wouldn’t be all that surprised to find out that Bella does in fact moonlight as a battle dancer. Hey, a girl’s got to keep herself busy somehow while waiting around on the set of all those high fashion photo shoots.
