The actress traded in her red locks for fall
Bye bye, red! Ashley Tisdale continued her great hair experiment by transforming her copper locks into an ombré brunette shade over the weekend.

The 30-year-old debuted the dark new hue on Instagram Friday evening with the caption: “It’s fall y’all @kristin_ess is the best! I love her like I love coffee.”
Celebrity colorist Kristin Ess was the mastermind behind the star’s new dark “bronde” shade, which fades from chestnut to honey as it goes.
Recently, Tisdale has become a bit of a Hollywood hair chameleon. Before going dark, the actress experienced life as a redhead and before that, she was a self-proclaimed “strawberry bronde” — and of course she started the year as a true blonde.
“I was strawberry blonde and I wanted to go a little bit deeper — and we just went really deep for fall,” she told PeopleStyle of all her changes. “I just think it’s fun, it’s a color I’ve never done — [but] I probably will change it up again and go back to something of a blonde.”
She adds: “Everybody knows me as this blonde person, so it’s nice to change it up and know that I’m not that character anymore — I’m grown up and doing other things. As a blonde, it’s like you’re more all-American in a way and anything darker is a little bit sexier, a little more sultry. There’s a bit of an edge now.”
