Emma Watson committed to wearing only eco-conscious ensembles on the red carpet for her Beauty and the Beast press tour, and has seemingly passed on the idea to Anne Hathaway.

Hathaway’s stylist, Penny Lovell, announced on Tuesday that the 34-year-old actress will be sticking with sartorially sustainable styles for her Colossal press tour. And to kick it off, the Oscar winner recycled a vintage Armani Prive gown at Tuesday’s New York City Fiji-sponsored premiere at AMC Lincoln Square Theater.

Hathaway chose the backless silk cady gown — from the designer’s 2006 Spring collection — that features embroidered pleated tulle and crinoline fan detailing on the one-shoulder top and skirt. The mother of one completed her look with Edie Parker’s $895 Jean Solid magnetic clutch in black.

“All of her choices for this tour are sustainable and will be either vintage pieces or archival runway looks,” Lovell explained on Instagram hours prior to the Big Apple premiere.

And the Armani antique wasn’t the only reclaimed dress Hathaway wore that day.

“$20 flea market dress. Let’s do this @sheiscolossal press day,” the actress captioned a mini video of her twirling in her LBD and Christian Louboutin heels.

While Hathaway selects reclaimed ensembles, she also found a way to indulge in other areas of style and beauty. Before the Colossal premiere, the star got ready by taking part in a gold facial mask to ensure a red carpet-ready complexion.

Hathaway documented the process on her Instagram Story and her makeup artist James Kaliardos also shared a photo of her on his account. “Anne Hathaway looking like a Greek Goddess in solid Gold,” Kaliardos wrote.
