Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman may not be living in her leotard anymore, but she can still appreciate a good stretch ensemble, as she proved at the Jeremy Scott show.

Raisman, 22, rocked a comic book-inspired two-piece ensemble that showed off her toned abs and sculpted arms at the Jeremy Scott show. The polka dotted outfit featured a winking character on the top while music notes adorned the skirt.

“Thanks for the cutest outfit,” the gymnast wrote to the designer on Instagram.

At Sherri Hill, Raisman met up with fellow Final Five teammate Simone Biles, there enjoying her first NYFW event. Both ladies looked glam in their dresses, with Biles donning a knee-length white number with beaded detailing throughout and fringe on the bottom. Raisman opted for a short navy dress with a jewel-adorned neckline and long sleeves and Bruno Magli heels.

Biles is such a Sherri Hill fan, she also wore the designer to the MTV Video Music Awards last month.

“It was super exciting because it was like a huge celebrity prom,” Biles, who missed her own high school prom, said of the awards show.

The stylish ensembles worn by Team U.S.A. since they returned from Rio are a welcomed change for Raisman.

“Obviously we are used to being in the gym sweaty and in a leotard with no makeup on and your hair’s a mess, so I like to come here and get dressed up and have fun,” the athlete tells PEOPLE.

Raisman, who names Blake Lively and Olivia Munn among her celebrity style icons, is already the face of Aeropostale jeans, but she hopes to make bigger moves in the fashion industry someday.

On top of the natural step of having a leotard line (as does Biles) Raisman is interested in transitional pieces.

“I kind of like the idea of you kind of go from workout to lunch,” she says.  “Then there’s something where you can almost have a sporty jacket, but it’s also fancy enough for dinner. Something that you can dress it up or dress it down with heels, I like stuff like that.”

As for dressing for her athletic body, Raisman has just one rule: wear things that make her feel comfortable and confident. “If someone says that they don’t like it on you but you like it on yourself, then go with the one that you feel good in,” she says. “That’s the most important thing.”
