It’s hard to believe that such an established actor with hair that great, and eyes so piercing hasn’t landed a modeling contract yet — have you seen that “smize?!” But Adrian Grenier’s joining the ranks of cool actors leading major fashion campaigns as the face of Buffalo David Bitton’s Spring 2015 collection and we have an exclusive behind-the-scenes photo from the shoot!

“This is my first fashion campaign, so when Buffalo approached me I was really excited to work with them,” said Grenier about the experience.

And the fashion newbie got the full photoshoot experience for the ad, which was shot in an old, romantic mansion with Sports Illustrated model Amber Arbucci and photographed by Victoria Secret guru Russell James.

As one who describes his personal style as “keep it simple,” the rookie looks right at home in the denim brand’s hoodies, chambrays and jeans (at least, judging from the finished product). “Of course I’m a denim guy,” said Grenier. “Isn’t everybody a denim guy?”

He didn’t want to just be a pretty face, however: He parlayed his new gig into a chance to help his other artistic endeavors. “They valued my creative input and wanted to take this beyond just a fashion shoot to make this a campaign for a greater good to support a cause that is significant to me,” he explained.

Buffalo’s “Blank Check Series” (that gives visionaries and artists funding to create engaging work) teamed up with Grenier’s passion project, his documentary “52: The Search for the Loneliest Whale.”

“That was really important to me because it gave me an added dimension that allowed me to put forth an intention,” said Grenier.

Gorgeous photos that support great causes? We can’t wait to see what the actor/director/environmentalist and model has in store for us next. (We hope it involves jeans, though.)
