We feel the same way. So to celebrate Levine’s new membership in the SMA club, we decided to take a quick look back at the engaged couple’s sexy-yet-cool style. Levine and his Victoria’s Secret angel (how cute was he cheering her on at the VS fashion show?) are not high maintenance at all when it comes to their wardrobes. They’re completely compatible in the laid-back dressing department — less high-glam and more hipster. Unlike some sexiest couples alive, they’re not known for hitting up the red carpet together in couture, but rather for hitting the streets in jeans, tees, boots and some amazing hats. Click here for all of PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive coverage! Most recently they were snapped in N.Y.C. all bundled up for the brisk weather. Levine selected a Los Angeles baseball cap from his 222 collection with Kmart to go with his gray jacket and jeans, while his fiancée went for monochrome in allover black, including AllSaints boots and a fur-trimmed topper that has editors swooning. After news of their engagement broke this summer, the couple was spotted again in casual clothing in N.Y.C. (middle photo above), with the heavily-bearded singer wearing a vest on the set of his upcoming film — he kind of reminds us of the lost Mumford and Son — and Prinsloo donning skinnies, a midriff-baring top, floral topper and the perfect bowler hat. And even toward the beginning of their relationship (far right) the couple kept it cool — Levine in his go-to uniform (jeans, a white tee and that baseball cap … remind you of anything?) and his girl showing some edge via her front-slit leopard maxi skirt. What do you think of their couple style? Is it too casual? Are you happy Adam Levine is the SMA this year? Share all your thoughts below. We love your feedback.
