Adam Rippon Admits His Celeb Crush Is 'This' Singer — and Apologizes for Not Noticing Him Sooner!

Chloe Kim, Mirai Nagasu, Gus Kenworthy and other Olympians also open up about the stars who make them swoon

Swoon alert!

The slopes aren’t the only things that Team USA athletes are crushing. Before leaving for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, PEOPLE sat down with some of the buzziest Olympians to find out which celebrities they’re crushing on.

Adam Rippon, who has quickly turned into a social media star during the Games, says he’s been eyeing this former boy bander.

“Harry Styles,” Rippon declares, before offering up an apology of sorts to the Brit. “I’m sorry I didn’t notice earlier, but I notice now. And that’s what matters.”

Chloe Kim, who at just 17 took home gold in the women’s halfpipe earlier this week, also opted for a One Direction alum as her crush.

“Definitely Zayn [Malik],” she says with a smile. “He’s cute — sorry, Gigi!”

And while freeskier Gus Kenworthy says “I have so many celebrity crushes, it’s crazy,” he did hone in on one person in particular.

“Jake Gyllenhaal has always been my number one,” he says matter-of-factly. “He’s super hot.”

Meanwhile, Mirai Nagasu, who landed her historic triple axel during the team event earlier this week, chose Kevin Hart, “because my heart melts when people make me laugh.”

Figure skater Nathan Chen also revealed himself to be a Potterhead when announcing his celeb crush.

“I think my celebrity crush would be Emma Watson,” he says. “She’s gorgeous and also I’m a huge fan of Harry Potter.”

Game of Thrones cast members have also worked their way into the hearts of many Winter Olympians.

Ice dancer Madison Hubbell and women’s ice hockey team member Monique Lamoureux-Morando both cited Jon Snow himself, a.k.a. Kit Harington, as their celebrity crush.

Also, freestyle skier Joss Christensen revealed that he carries a torch for silver-haired Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke. But even though he’s an Olympian, Christensen doesn’t think his odds of scoring a date with the Mother of Dragons are very good.

“She has like 10 million followers on Instagram so my chances of really sliding into her DMs isn’t too high,” Christensen admits.

Social media seems to play a big part in Team USA’s celebrity crushes. Women’s bobsled team member Aja Evans previously announced her crush on Drake to the world in hopes that the rapper would reach out, but it didn’t really go as planned.

“I’m a fan of Drake and so the last Olympics I said that,” Evans explained. “And I was like, ‘Oh he’s going to DM me or something!’ But no.”
