The U.S. women’s gymnastics team is already taking Rio by storm.

Since landing in Brazil last Thursday, Team USA’s Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, Madison Kocian, Laurie Hernandez and Aly Raisman are making new friends.

With a slew of cute selfies, fun group shots and pics with other athletes, the pint-size champions are showing the world what #squadgoals are supposed to look like.

Among their new friends are the men’s volleyball team, whose players towered over the gymnasts in pictures from a day of bonding.

Biles, who is 4-foot-8, and Raisman, who is 5-foot-2, posed for pictures back-to-back with U.S. men’s volleyball player David Lee – who is 6-foot-8.

“Size difference in olympians doesn’t matter, depending on what sport you do,” Biles captioned her snap.

And of course they had to take a group picture with the Cuban volleyball team to show off the height difference, too. Even kneeling, one Cuban player was the same height as Biles.

The group also met Team Japan’s women’s gymnastic squad, who posted an Instagram picture of all 10 of them together.

They also made some Brazilian friends – like Biles’ “Brazilian boyfriend,” gymnast Arthur Nory.

But it wasn’t all fun and selfies. The team also began their intense training regimen before the games kick off.

Behind the scenes, in the Olympic Village, there were plenty of selfies, embarrassing pictures and jokes.

Along with plenty of hand-wrapping and recovery.
