Landon Benton, a 10-month-old Instagram-famous baby, has captured the hearts of NBA fans everywhere thanks to his uncanny resemblance to Golden State Warriors player Stephen Curry.

When Internet users started to poke fun of her son’s weight on his social media account, calling him ‘Stuff Curry,’ Landon’s mother Jessica Benton says she decided to embrace the nickname – and dress her son in Curry’s number 30 jersey.

“I’m not going to let them fat shame my baby and put it all over online and I just give up there. I wanted to really turn it into something good and take control of it and say, ‘Okay, we’re going to own this name. Yeah, we’re Stuff Curry. We look like the famous basketball player,’ ” she told ESPN.

Landon now has over 35,000 Instagram followers.

“I have people message me and they’re like, ‘I just wanted to let you know, my mom loves your baby and we have secretly adopted him into our own family, he’s so gorgeous we love him. He looks just like Steph Curry,’ ” said Jessica.

Jessica and her husband Tommie Benton say gifts from adoring fans have started showing up on their Quincy, Illinois, front porch – including a Curry jersey with “Stuff” on the back.

“It’s like Christmas every day for Landon,” Jessica told ESPN.

Jessica’s decision to take the high road against Landon’s Instagram haters is rooted in tragedy, though.

When she was pregnant with Landon, her 20-year-old son committed suicide.

“I can’t say it’s directly due to bullying or anything, but I have one kid who’s not here with me who told me that people made fun of him. I’m not going to have another kid think that the whole world was laughing at him,” she told ESPN.

Jessica told ESPN that she is now an obligatory Golden State Warriors fan.
