INTRODUCING MR. & MRS. OHANIAN
The couple wed at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Nov. 16, which was also the birthday of Ohanian's late mother Anke who died nine years ago.
The beautiful bride prepped for her big day with the help of her glam squad: hair stylist Angela Meadows and makeup artist Natasha Gross.
TYING THE KNOT
The groom got some extra help from one of his groomsmen to complete Ohanian's custom Armani wedding look in this special photo captured by Mel Barlow Photography and Allan Zepeda. The day was also photograohed by Bob Metelus and Erica Rodriguez for both the happy couple and Vogue.
GRAND SLAM BRIDESMAID
Serena's sister, Venus Williams, looked gorgeous in her custom Galia Lahav bridesmaid dress as she walked down the aisle.
The couple's 11-week-old daughter Alexis Olympia stole the show when she was accompanied by her grandmother Oracene Price.
WRITING THEIR OWN VOWS
“I will always have bad jokes that make your eyes roll; make you give me the side eye," Alexis told his wife, according to Vogue. “You are the greatest of all time, not just in sport. I’m talking about as a mother, and as a wife. I am so excited to write so many more chapters of our fairy tale together."
PRINCESS ALEXIS OLYMPIA
In his vows, Alexis called Serena his queen and said that they already have their princess as reported by Vogue.
A SIXPENCE IN HER SHOE
These crocheted booties were the perfect accessory for the couple's baby girl.
“She talked to all of us and just kind of let us have creative control as to what dress fit our personality. And then she approved it, of course!” Serena’s best friend, Val Vogt, told Vogue.
CIARA & ANNA WINTOUR
The singer, who also attended the bride's pre-wedding girls' weekend, was seated next to Vogue's editor-in-chief.
ALL EYES ON ALEXIS OLYMPIA
Alexis Olympia, who was born on Sept. 1, was front and center for the entire ceremony.
After the couple was pronounced husband and wife, cheers erupted.
All 13 members of the wedding party took official portraits in the Arts Center’s Black Box Theatre.
The mother of one changed into her second look of the night: a feathered, lace dress custom made by Donatella Versace.
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST-STYLE DECOR
Guests dined on an around-the-world-themed dinner as the band played several of Serena's favorite Disney songs, including “Be Our Guest.” The bride wanted a French ball–themed reception inspired by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve’s fairy tale.
The siblings showed off their second looks inside the fun photo booth.
THE BIG EASY
"Alexis really wanted to do it here. It’s his favorite city besides Brooklyn. It’s got a heavy European influence, it’s fun, and has amazing food," Serena explained to Vogue about the wedding location, that was prepped by Jennifer Zabinski and Preston Bailey.
The Tony-winning performer entertained the bride and groom as well as the attendees.
The newlyweds cuddled on a bench while everyone partied on the carousel as it spun, according to Vogue.
