After a brutal beating by Holly Holm, Ronda Rousey is kissing the pain away.

The UFC fighter was spotted flaunting some rare PDA with boyfriend Travis Browne on Thursday while leaving a gym in Los Angeles.

In a sweet moment, Rousey, 28, affectionately wrapped her arms around her mixed martial artist beau to give him a kiss. The pair, who have been dating since early summer, continued to hold each other’s hands while walking back to their car.

Holm’s second-round knockout kick to the face on Nov. 14 left Rousey with several stitches in her lip and a few teeth unstable. She recently admitted to ESPN The Magazine in its “Ideas of the Year” issue: “It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact.”

But the recovering fighter also told the mag that Browne has been her number one support system since the defeat.

Rousey had been fiercely protective about opening up about her romance prior to her match against Holm, however she told ESPN, “I’m finally happy with somebody that respects me and cares about me,” adding, “Even when everyone thinks the world of me, I still go to bed anxious and freaking out because I’m afraid of everything. The only time I’ve gotten a reprieve from that [feeling] in my life is since I’ve been with him.”

On Wednesday, Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White announced July 9 as the date of Rousey’s rematch versus Holm. White confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that Holm’s first fight as UFC women’s bantamweight champion is scheduled against Rousey.

However, Holm’s manager, Lenny Fresquez, expressed concern over Rousey’s health arguing, “She took a severe beating and I don’t think it’s in her best interest to take the next fight so fast.”
