Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn is no stranger to injuries. But her most recent damage wasn’t done on the slopes, instead, a gash to her thumb came at the hands – or teeth – of her own pups.

“So the story is that my dogs got rowdy fighting over a dang Frisbee and I tried to break it up but got bit instead. Fun weekend,” Vonn tweeted on Saturday.

The 31-year-old athlete shared a video on social media that showed off a bloody gash to her hand and a shot of of herself wearing a hospital gown.

“I just decided to do Jimmy Fallon for a belated Halloween outfit,” the star joked in the video. “Nailed it! I win!” Along with the video, she tweeted “I win @jimmyfallon.”

The “Halloween outfit” prompted a response from the comedian himself.

“@lindseyvonn Oh no! I was faking mine. You should’ve called me first! #quickrecovery,” Fallon tweeted to the athlete.

And a quick recovery it was, as the star shared another Instagram video with the caption “Dog bite is fine.” In the video, Vonn can be seen gliding down a snowy slope.

Vonn recently recovered from a fractured ankle suffered in August, which kept her out of the season-opening World Cup giant slalom in Austria last month.

However, she told the Associated Press that she will be fine for a World Cup giant slalom in Colorado this month.

Vonn’s long list of injuries include slicing open her thumb in 2009 (she skied with her hand taped to the pole), a bruised shin, a concussion and a knee injury.

Despite the bite, there seems to be no bad blood between the star and her dogs, Leo and Bear. She uploaded a photo of one of the pooches to the dogs’ Instagram account on Sunday.
