Lamar Odom returned to the Los Angeles Lakers home court Wednesday night to watch his former team take on the Miami Heat.

The 36-year-old, who was dressed casually in a grey hoodie and camouflage pants, was reportedly a guest of longtime friend and former teammate, Kobe Bryant.

ESPN reporter Ramona Shelburne heard that Odom would be returning to the Staples Center earlier in the night and Tweeted, “Kobe Bryant left two tickets for Lamar Odom to attend tonight’s game vs the Miami Heat. Odom is expected to attend, according to sources.”

Though it seems as if Odom has been in good spirits lately, a source at the Los Angeles hospital where he received weeks of treatment are concerned for the 6-ft., 10-in. tall former basketball player after he was spotted at a bar Saturday night.

“Lamar needs to focus on staying healthy. He should not be consuming any alcohol,” a source at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles previously told PEOPLE. “In Lamar’s case, as someone who only a few moths ago had several life threatening health issues, including kidney failure, he needs to live clean. The trauma to his body after the drug overdose was devastating. Alcohol can cause more damage.”

Odom continues to make strides in his recovery – with the support of estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian – after spending months under medical care after being found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel Oct. 13. He was moved to Cedars a week later and transitioned to an inpatient rehab in January.

On Sunday, Odom spent Easter with the whole Kardashian-Jenner crew, which included attending morning church service with many of the family members and partaking in a brunch and an Easter egg hunt at Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West‘s Bel Air home.
