New York Giants Player Daniel Fells Gets an Adorable Welcome Home from His Kids After Leaving the Hospital
"Back where I'm supposed to be," Daniel Fells wrote of coming home from the hospital
After receiving treatment for an MRSA infection, Giants tight end Daniel Fells is out of the hospital and back at home, where he received the sweetest welcome from his two young children, daughter Layla, 2, and son Lennon, 4.
Fells, who is currently walking on crutches, posted a video of his homecoming on his Instagram account, captioning it, “Back where I’m supposed to be. Thanks for all the love and support everyone.”
It’s no wonder Fells is so happy to be home – he spent most of October in the hospital, enduring seven surgeries on his infected foot, ESPN reports.
Fells, 32, was taken to the hospital on Oct. 2 after suffering foot and ankle injuries, and was later diagnosed with the staff infection MRSA.
It’s been reported that Fells may have to have his foot amputated but doctors are now saying they believe they have the infection under control, Fells’ agent told ESPN Monday, adding that the NFL star still has two more surgeries left to go.
