Here’s one way to get people to pay attention to the in-flight safety video – have it star ageless Christie Brinkley and a bunch of other beautiful bikini models.

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Sports Illustrated‘s swimsuit issue teamed with Air New Zealand to create a cheeky, four-minute-plus in-flight instruction video that considers “the beauty of safety.”

Models Chrissy Teigen, Ariel Meredith, Hannah Davis and Jessica Gomes go through the safety info while lounging in their swimsuits on the Cook Islands. Seatbelts appear on lounge chairs, oxygen masks drop into beachside hammocks and inflatable life jackets are, well, suddenly very sexy.

“If you need to inflate your life jacket a bit more, blow into the mouthpiece,” says Davis as she demonstrates.

Not to spoil any surprises (see the video below), but consummate Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Brinkley, who just turned 60, appears briefly and looks stunning in a white bikini.

Sports Illustrated will reveal its swimsuit edition cover Thursday on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, on which Kimmel will interview this year’s cover model.

Check out the safety video below – and don’t forget to buckle up.
