Cashmere shawl, 'Changthang Beauty' (India)

Pashmina cashmere, originating from the Ladakh district of India, is collected from local goats, which produce long inner hairs that protect against the cold climates there. Working with local artisans, Karmabhoomi hand weaves this amazing shawl of pashmina cashmere, employing the jacquard technique to diligently incorporate the fibers. It features a striped design in maize and turquoise bordered by sepia for a striking accessory.
