This table was made, like most of my pieces, from lumber milled from a dead tree. This adds a number of things that cannot be found in green cut wood. This particular table has spalting, numerous contrasting color variations, insect holes, live edge character and the beautiful ray fleck that is the result of quarter sawing the board. The foot is made from a cant that has the back and one side flat and the other side is the natural outside edge of the log. Both the wcant that has the back and one side flat and the other side is the natural outside edge of the log. Both the waterfall leg and the front leg are at 100 degrees to the top instead of the boring 90 degrees that most waterfall tables are done with. There is no visible hardware or bracing at any of the joints, just a nice clean continuation of the grain at the waterfall joint. There is no stain added and the finish is satin polyurethane to withstand the wear and tear that a coffee table endures. Dimensions are 58 long, 15 wide and 17.5 high. Weight without crating is 43 lbs. Please contact me for an accurate shipping quote as this will need to be shipped via freight service. The price I am showing is just an estimate that hopefully represents a worst case destination. I will be happy to provide more pictures if there is a specific view or detail that you would like to see. I welcome custom madetoorder work. All of my work is original and unique. If you like an existing piece, I can base your new piece on the same theme, but it will be uniquely yours. I will provide you with a detailed description (including types of materials, dimensions, finishes, etc.) to help provide a clear understanding of what your finished product will look like. For custom orders a 50% nonrefundable deposit is required. I will send you images of the piece as it goes through the process if requested. Final payment is due at delivery of your piece or at completion if it is to be shipped. If you are interested in commissioning a piece, please contact me. I would love to work with you to turn your vision into reality. For most large commissioned pieces, I generally require 612 weeks after receipt of your initial payment before the project is ready to ship. Smaller carved items can be done in 2 to 4 weeks. I do my best to advise you of the lead time expected for your purchase but any lead time estimate is in good faith and actual completion time may vary. read more
